After years of staging and redesigning my numerous homes and doing the same for the homes of friends and family, I decided it was time to pursue a full-time career doing what I enjoy. Watching the client’s reaction entering their home after a redesign is one of the most rewarding experiences I have known and it is all in a day’s work. Growing up, I observed my mom and her close friends take what some might view as junk and transform their homes into tastefully decorated interiors. Lacking the necessary resource$ to buy furniture and accessories, I became innovative with my own acquired treasures. Thankfully, I no longer have macramé hanging end tables or the matching headboard, complete with cowbell (don’t ask, it was the 70's). Thanks Mom, Syble, Murldean and Nellie for the wonderful lessons! My husband, Tom, and I reside in Miami Shores, Florida, with our rescued mutts, Boomer and Bandit. I completed my professional redesign training through Nancy Geoghegan of Redesign America in Fort Lauderdale, an approved instructor for the Interior Redesign Industry Specialists (IRIS) whose members are frequently featured on the popular show “Decorating Cents”, airing on HGTV. Having successfully completed the coursework, I was accepted as a member of IRIS.
